Wild & Arrow jewelry is designed by Miia and created in our store/studio at Södermalm in Stockholm and our design studio in Bergslagen. Besides the Wild & Arrow jewelry you will find carefully selected ethically made vegan fashion, perfume, and gifts from independent artists and makers like us. The store and jewelry studio in Stockholm is located in Sofo, Södermalm at Renstiernas gata 29, near Nytorget.  WHERE IT ALL STARTEDThe passion and need of creating has always been a huge part of the designer Miia Turunen’s life.Born in Helsinki, Finland, the way to Stockholm took the path via Pori, Linköping and Los Angeles. Miia started out as a Web Animation Designer, Musician and Photographer, but after working for several years as an Art Director it was time for a change. In 2004 the first own store in Kungsholmen, Stockholm opened. There the love for metalwork soon took over and an extensive journey in goldsmithing began. The jewelry designs has since then traveled all over the world and sold in independent stores from Helsinki to Pittsburgh. "We´ve shipped our jewelry to 33 countries so far"  WILD & ARROW THE BRAND Wild & Arrow is a ethical and eco conscious jewelry brand based in Stockholm, all pieces are designed by Miia Turunen. The Wild & Arrow jewelry are classical yet modern pieces, lovingly made to last for a lifetime. The designs are hand formed and created from a passion for combining and experimenting with ancient goldsmithing techniques and cutting edge modern tools. Drawing inspiration from the dark covered winter nights in Sweden and Finland. The design reflects Miia's Nordic legacy and are characterized by a simple but strong minimalistic expression. Committed to sustainability we carefully source materials with a main focus on worker friendly, non toxic production, cruelty free and vegan. Many items are made from vintage or repurposed materials. Any manufacturing done outside of Sweden is carefully considered for their social and environmental responsibility. Each piece of jewelry is made with love! We use casting partners in Sweden and Germany. Silver and gold are cast with 100% recycled metal. All jewelry is filed by hand, soldered and finished in our studio downstairs. |
